Jost Group takes over CP Ships

Consolidating our business in container traffic by a new acquisition!

JostGroup has been watching recent developments in the container transport sector closely and is well aware of future challenges that lie ahead.

Aiming to develop his position and operational structure, already significantly reinforced through the acquisition of the company DE BOCK at the beginning of the year, JostGroup has taken over CP Ships Logistics (Port of Antwerp) and CP Ships Trucking GmbH (Neuss).

Following the acquisition, JostGroup now has a capacity of over 3.000 operating units, departments in 13 countries in Europe and the Maghreb, 220.000m² of warehouses and 1.650 employees. After the takeover the consolidated turnover will amount to 245 million Euros in 2012.

This structure will not only significantly increase the resources available for current customers, but will also expand the range of services and possibilities in transport, logistics and maritime shipping, as CP Ships has been maintaining excellent relations with an important player in maritime shipping.

Once again, JostGroup will take up the position of a highly specialized partner for (future) customers, who offers a wide range of services.  

After all, it is the Group’s priority to keep serving its client-partners in the best possible way, respecting their specific requirements.
